An exploration of human connection with strangers, capturing fleeting in-between moments often lost in conversation.
Becoming a parent has heightened my awareness of small gestures and interactions. These images encapsulate decisive moments—subtle mannerisms and quiet gestures that reveal our relationship with others.
I stripped the image of distractions, using a neutral backdrop and natural light, focusing purely on genuine engagement. My subjects were strangers in Melbourne, selected intuitively as I was drawn to their faces and styles, driven by curiosity to know them better.
