STIRLING CAIULO

This is a series of shots done for a painter called Stirling, based in Coburg, and for this series, I documented his latest art piece. It was very intriguing to hear about his process and see the artwork develop over time. The studio space had a good energy about it, which helped make the whole experience feel like we were just hanging out.

Regarding the shoot, the studio was small and had tinted windows, which left the space a touch too dark. I decided to simply bounce one light in the room as a fill and try to use an open window for natural light. This freed me to move around the space and find the best angles.
