BELTED GALLOWAY
While driving back from a camping trip, I stumbled upon a rodeo that immediately caught my attention. Dust-covered cowboys clambered over each other, eager to watch their colleagues' next bull ride. Though I had never been involved in rodeo rides before, the scene sparked nostalgia for my childhood in the country, where we would ride a 44-gallon drum suspended by ropes at each corner while my friends jumped up and down, tugging at the ropes.
This project was primarily shot with a 35mm lens in a documentary style, as I wanted to remain nimble and unobtrusive.
