Bar Margaux

I was in charge of creating stills and motion for Bar Margaux based on a simple but effective idea. The concept was to give bottles a sense of weightlessness as they balanced on a hand. I knew I wanted to capture everything in-camera, so we used a simple trick with a piece of fishing line to help create the illusion.

For lighting, I opted for four Kino Flo lights to create strong, straight highlights and provide enough illumination for a super slow-motion effect in motion. It was a great example of a project where I was able to execute a strong idea, keep it realistic, and avoid excessive retouching.
